Knowledge about CoCrMo alloy rod

Classification:

【Summary Description】CoCrMo alloy rod has a considerable amount of chromium-rich carbides (M7C3 type) precipitated on the matrix, so it has good metal-to-metal wear resistance and abrasive wear resistance, and the hardness of the alloy increases with the increase of W and C content.

CoCrMo alloy rod has a considerable amount of chromium-rich carbides (M7C3 type) precipitated on the matrix, so it has good metal-to-metal wear resistance and abrasive wear resistance, and the hardness of the alloy increases with the increase of W and C content. The strength and hardness of the alloy can be maintained above 800°C, and it has good comprehensive properties such as wear resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and cavitation resistance. Cobalt chromium tungsten and cobalt chromium molybdenum are two types. Cobalt chromium tungsten focuses on high temperature wear resistance; cobalt chromium molybdenum focuses on high temperature corrosion resistance.

CoCrMo alloy rod

CoCrMo alloy rod has excellent high-temperature mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and abrasion resistance, and exhibits good erosion resistance and high-temperature oxidation resistance. It is widely used in various industries, especially for nuclear power, petrochemical, electric power, automobiles, Textile, chemical, food and many other fields. Commonly used products include spool valve seats, shafts, shaft sleeves, pump parts, glass, battery molds, nozzles and cutting tools, etc., and can also be used as shaft sleeves, screw feeders, protective sheets for roll turbine blades, etc. It can also be used for various equipment accessories, galvanized production lines, oilfield equipment spare parts, etc.
